About Our School

At Chapman Elementary, school staff work collaboratively to promote character, confidence, knowledge, and a love for learning in each of our students. Our school is a four-time California Distinguished School, most recently recognized in 2020 and a Title I Academic Achievement School. Over the last three years, our school has been acknowledged as a TOP school in LA County and Honor Roll school. Chapman Elementary is the only school in the South Bay area that offers a Dual Language Mandarin program. Our youngest students explore, learn, and develop socially in our Expanded Transitional Kindergarten program, one of the few ETK programs in Gardena. Our Special Education programs provides our students access and support for student success. Chapman Elementary is the perfect school for your child.
